Re: 1982 CB750K DOHC Monoshock, SSSA, USD Front, Bar Hopper.
My plans, have been dashed, yet again.
The welding shop welded the rails in upside down, on 16 panels. The plate lead, that has been a colossal fuck up all the way around. The supplier, was out of tolerance on everything. I paid them quite a bit extra to cut and drill it to +/- 62.5 thousandths. What I got was + between .125 and .250 over max allowance. And every single hole was drilled undersize. So the spacers called for do not fit. To top it off, I was supposed to receive 3 pallets of plates. I got two, the other somehow got shipped to Columbia, SC. I won't have it until Monday. That pallet is 32 plates, and the salesman has said they'll be off the roughly the same amount. He didn't even put a tolerance on the order, he assumed they'd be +/- .0625.
All of that, on top of the lead already being 3 weeks past scheduled delivery date.
