Gotta love an instant gratification thread. I really like the look of the 21, but I'm not gonna build or ride it, so take it FWIW. Looks sweet as is though.

Hey, thanks for all the positive feedback; i really appreciate it.

To address:
Yeah, I'm going to tuck it below the rear brake arm and lop it off around the foot pegs. I'm trying to find a decent exhaust tip, maybe just a piece of 2 inch stainless to be seen the last 6 inches because im going to cover the whole thing in that "greyish" header wrap.

Mines an Emgo shorty from JC Whitney that I cut down to fit-I think it looks good and Japanese style

Sooo, I tracked down what I need to make the 18x4.00 front work. I'm going to use a Cb360 tripple tree, my forks, a cb360 axel, cb360 drum brake/hub, a rear xl rim and call in a order to buchanan spokes. Then some 18x4.00 Avon MkII's = sexy.

it's like the cb360 was built to be used on every other honda out there. I have a swingarm, and wheel assembly from a cb360 on my cb450.

I made it; If you want some of the screen I can send you a piece. I had to buy a 50foot roll..

So, I got dropped off at the shop I used to dyno tune and embarked on the 50 mile drive home. 15 minutes in there was a chain issue.. other then that and having to tighten some valve cover nuts it ran like a champ. It is credibly loud; I think I'm going to find a baffle to mount inside my exhaust.

I have the Vintage firestone deluxe, front and rear. I dont ride in the rain or on gravel roads. Asphalt, concrete and chip and tar, and in central Illinois these roads are not in the best shape. bumpas and pot holes can get pretty bad. its all good. it corners fine. and Ive had it up to 80 and ussualy cruise tween 60-70. ride it every evening. long as the weather is nice. And I have no problem at all. They ride like the other tires Ive had. I am very happy w the performance and ride. Running 3.25-19 and 4.50-18 rear. Here are the pics of mine on post.

Great build! finally i found someone who has done exactly what i plan to do with my xl350! 2 questions for you....where did you put your battery? why did you have to do all the fab work on the triples? i want the 18" front look also and am not sure on how to go about it. are the xl triples too close together to fit the 18x4 tire? i had heard that a cb125 18" front wheel would have bolted right up....? just not sure i can get the same fab work done that you did to accomplish this.
thanks for your input!
