JPMs 1977 Suzuki GS550 REDUX

The problem is, WOT only bogs down and wouldn't really bring the RPMs up at all so I don't think the full throttle chop is really an accurate one.

Is the engine stuttering when trying to climb in revs while riding, or is the engine drowning (more of a bwroap sound).
Stuttering would indicate lean most of the times. Drowning would indicate too rich.

First quick try should be getting the carb leaner when you started with a stock bike. Those are tuned to the lean side for emissions, and when you start changing things you rappidly need to go a big bigger with your jet sizes.

Anything above about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle results in the engine completely bogging down and in my opinion, sounds like it's getting too much fuel but the plugs aren't really reflective of that. I think i am going to change the main and retest.

Well, if you start getting misfires you can't read shit from your spark plugs :)
If you're able to post a video with good audio whilest riding, I'm sure some of those dark magic carb tuners will quickly help you out. Best way to learn, from those wizards :)
Couldn't have gotten my bike adjusted this well without my personal one.
Once you get the basic setup, the fine tuning gets easy.

Still going to tweak the carb tuning a little bit but I'm going to call this one COMPLETE!!!
