KZ400 with loads of class... (FINAL STAGES!!!)

Geebus! You're right down the street! I live off of Cornell down by 17th (Jones Farm area) Where's the shop exactly?

Just off 25th and Cornell. Pretty much right next to the airport operations gate.
I'm thinking seriously about a Spring Opener event here to kick things off.
Ride in only, as few cages as possible, at least one band (mine) but probably two or three, a couple BBQs, a keg or two for those who aren't riding out after etc....

When i settle on a date I'll post something here and a few other places on the 'toobz'..

That sounds wicked awesome. If needed I have a group of buddies who have an '80s New-wave style band called Pink Noise that may fit the bill:

man i love both those bikes! looks like a great around town ripper! still room for a lady on the back! i love that!

Thanks Joe. It really is stellar around town in traffic. Just upright enough to really feel in control and pretty damn comfortable too. The wifey hated the bike and the idea of me having it until I threw her on the back and got her a helmet of her own ;D She still hates me being out on the bike, but she loves being thrown on the back ;)

Welp...I sold the bike, but bought it back about a year later. I've been riding it around since winter any chance I get. I just put stock bars back on it this week and really need new shocks, it's more evident with the added weight back on the rear of the bike.

It's nice to ride though, super comfy. OH! and I also went back to a stock air box with K&N drop in, and it runs SOOOOOOOO much better...if you are running pods on your CV carbs, I highly recommend ditching them...just not worth the finicky-ness....

It was great to finally meet you the other night Jordan and your bike sounds fantastic with those Norton mufflers!

I'll be in Saturday morning until sometime around 1pm.
Your other bike is going to be pretty wicked!

Been a while, but she's still rocking strong. This photos a bit old, but a good shot of how she looks now.

I didn't and I was never running right, I'm back to a stock air box and k&n filter now. Even with proper jetting CV carbs don't like pods, either upgrade to Mikunis or keep the box

Awesome bike mate. The new bars, rear light & seat just make it so much better looking. And it looked good before those mods 8)

Is that your CB450 next to it & was it the same bike next to yours a couple of pages back? Is there a build on it on this forum?

Cheers Mega.

That's actually a CL360. Only reason I know it is because it's my background right now. Hah.

Here's the thread to the build. Wicked stuff. Big inspiration for my current build.

It's also on Bikeexif.com if you wanna get some hi-res photos. I've also got quite a few of various CL360's. I can send em your way if you're interested.

On another note. that KZ looks incredible. I was very pleasently surprised when I saw what it turned into. Great build. Well done.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I do love it...

The CL360 as mentioned was a fun little bike too, belonged to a good buddy of mine and we built it in just a few short months. It really is amazing though just how drastically different it was from. My KZ in nearly every way. I'm definitely a diehard Kawi guy

Ahhh well played Fox. The colour scheme on the tank had me fooled as a 450. I have a CB450 in the same colour scheme.

Cheers Mega
