Not bad man!! I've decided to drill out my pilots a tad more because of your thread. I think it will run even better that way. Any other news on this, as in paint/no paint, or just running it as-is until winter (not that you really have winters..)
Thanks! Yeah bigger pilots made a huge difference. If you think about while riding around town the carbs are mostly running on that circuit. And for paint there won't be any, I'm going to fill the dents with body lead and keep it bare metal.
Very cool. Yeah, I'm mainly highways because I'm kinda far from most people I know...haha. So it's NOT on the pilot circuit too much for me! But it's better to be running right anyways. Diggin' your bike for sure man.
Nothing really new here, ordered some new dyna coils because one stock coil is getting a little weak so I figured it was time for new ones. Also still working on the handlebar situation, have some clip-ons that will need some modifying to fit and also waiting for a guy to dig out some clubmans from his pile... On the bench right now are the parts and pieces to make up a chain roller because chain slaps the swing arm over a hard bump or a quick downshift. I've taken most of the slack out of it but don't want to pull it back any farther and the genius that is my forward engineering abilities can't take a link out move it farther forward because of my fender... (didn't take into account the new chain would stretch that much) anyway, I'll get that together this weekend...
And here's a photo of the whole thing as it sits today. You would think me being a photographer and all I would take some better photos with something other than my iPhone. I will soon.
