Because owner got pissed off with a few non-positive responses. He only dropped in to troll for praise.

And you know this as fact? Tell me, have you ever posted pictures of your bike?

For what purpose did you post pictures?

To share with my FEW friends that Ive made over the last 4 yrs... What the masses thought I could care less. Am I on trial with you and your Easter egg for having an opinion?

Actually, I quoted and I was talking to DrJ.

Well, he's been on the board longer than I and if you were to search you would find pics of his bike. And when posted it's usually because he's trying to help somebody. What has the owner of this bike contributed to the site? DrJ has always been honest and non biased. Which is why I spoke on his behalf.... He is entitled to his opinion which one may receive when they put there bike on the cat walk. He is always very respectful when delivering opinion as well.

I remember when we used to build bikes and cars just to piss people off. Now if a builder gets a "It's not my cup a tea" response, he cries "hater" and runs away. Oh how we've changed.

It's all because they took dodgeball out of the schools. You really never become a man if you never learn how to take a playground ball to the face and come up grinning.

^ +1

You drama queens gonna keep yakkin about this, I'll make a new board for you - titled The View.

Lets be big boys guys and just walk away. Different opinions, different view points, whatever, If we don't agree with them just chalk it up to that you don't agree and move on.

Now in my opinion as i have said before i liked the bike. But if the builder couldn't take a little bit of negative criticism, then boo hoo to him. I mean come on you don't build bikes for others unless you plan to sell them and put them in shows. I mean look at OCC or Confederate cycles, blah blah blah the list goes on. Not everyone is going to like the artists renderings, but a true artist takes the criticism and moves on. Cause its a few opinions, but they are not the only opinions that matters. Put it in perspective how many artists have died before people truelly began to appreciate what they have done.

I like it. It's different and I am amazed by people that can get a vision in their mind and make it reality. Who cares if it's what anyone else likes. I'll bet he built the bike for himself, and if he likes it that's about all that matters anyway.

Have a happy Thanksgiving.

damn... didn't think it was such a big deal around to not post back. Im still around, working on my other shit at the moment, back in school, and new job, not much time for the forum. I have been taking the bike around instead of just internet posting... I'm fine if not everyone likes the bike, no big shit. Just didn't think it would come from guys on here is all. I gotta post some better pics of the bike... the one I did was just with my cell phone. If its not your cup of tea, thats cool... I like it.

oh, and someone asked about the space I work in... its just my home garage... got decent hand tools, and grinder, and a welder... not much else.

Side note... I didn't come here for praise, I take pride in my work, and sure, its nice when others appreciate it.

I mostly didn't expect the vague negative comments like this one....

I just don't get this bike at all.

Where this is actually good negative feedback...

I dont know why I feel as is I need to defend my opinion...? But, I feel as if people think I'm bashing this persons quality and enginuity. Not the case..... I think on that level it's bitchen. I personally just dont like the aesthetic result of the 2 bikes combined. Nothing appears to belong together IMO. When building and modifying a bike, one thing that is very important to me is flow and everything appearing as if they belong. It's not his fault or lack of ability that doesnt achieve this for me ..... It's the fact that the parts obviously from different decades... The color choices are a little 80's Boyd Boyd Coddington rod for me... I'd like to experience the handling 1st hand. Maybe my opinion would be changed, maybe it would b worse..?

I think this bike is awesome! I own a stock version of the same bike, and I'll be thrilled when my tax check come in and I trrow a cheap ass 4-1 Mac on it and some pod filters. Nice to see how far a particular bike can be modded. I don' think I'd go that far with mine. But super nice work! Thanks for the inspiration!

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it here. Looks like a fun build and I am sure lots of stuff to figure out. And that alone is worth praising, you were persistant and completed the bike, when there are lots of simpler builds sitting unfinished because the builder gave up.
