Those triple trees clean up well with a little paint stripper and a buffing wheel.

You sound like my Brother, HD haha. You must have the patience of a saint doing all the polishing you did. But damn does it look good on your 750

The swingarm is painted and cleared. I also finished the exhaust collars. It's amazing what a little paint can do

I am close to painting the engine. I did the clutch cover in Rustoleum cast coat iron and it came out pretty nice. I have one more seal to replace in the motor and have to torque down the starter clutch bolts and get to painting.

As you can see from the pics, I have been busy. I got the engine primed, the triple tree bearings off, new steering stops welded, and the frame prepped and primed.
