My 1981 Honda CB750 Custom

No shit... carried over to the GL's in '80... THANK GOD! That boxer 1100 would be a BITCH to hoist out of the frame without it!

Engine looks wonderful, what did you paint it with? Really shiny.

Thank you. I used Duplicolor high heat engine silver and Rustoleum Cast Coat Iron

I have completed the bike for the season. Spent a wonderful 150 miles yesterday in the sun and the bike ran perfect. I still have more mods planned like a nice 4 into 1 exhaust and paint and some other bits but it is good enough for this season.

Stopped for a break on a brisk ride today. It was fun cruising the twisties looking at the Autumn colors. :)

Yogi I like the bike! I have an 80 cb750c and I have been racking my brain on how to fab the seat/frame/tail section. Yours looks good, I might steal your look there ;D You got any close ups of the tailights? How you mounted, where you bought etc? Any help/info would be great. Thanks

Thanks Morgan :). It wouldn't be the first time haha. I'll snap a pic of the tail lights and mounting for you. They are just Harley bullet style turn signals with the bulbs changed out to red.

The mounting is through the holes in the frame that hold the rear fender in stock form. I used some rubber washers in between the lights and frame.

Recently I added some Biltwell Recoil grips. They are contoured and fit my hands well. I'm stoked to try them out on a long ride.

Awesome work. Love a nice a nice DOHC.

Thanks :). There is still more to do (isn't there always ;)) Yours looks like it's going to turn out well with the benji's seat and frame hoop.

thanks, it has been torn down for a year now, getting close to finishing.

I added a new, taller rear tire. I went from a 140/70-17 to a 130/90-17. What a difference it made too. The extra height made the bike look and sit alot better. I also added some new rearsets which also improved the looks of the bike overall. Next up is the exhaust. I have a Kerker four into one I will be installing after ceramic coating and building or buying a muffler.
