"I guess a lot of people finally realize the potential of CLs, and CB 350s."

Potential being very subjective.

I knew it was time to cash out my CB360 (my first bike) when I got passed by 3 guy in a mini (the real one not the fake Beemers)
I was lying on the tank flat out at 90mph.

I'd be happy to just go 65mph on the fwy. Any idea on the top speed of these bikes?

Re: My '73 CL350

Wow, looking like it's not going to be on the road very soon, but looks good anyway. ;D

Just got a CL350 also, I bought it not knowing a thing about them, cafe, or motorcycles in general. With all the love CL's are getting here, I feel like I hit the jackpot. heh! Only mine is a bit older, so not as easy to do some of the nicer mods.

Keep up the good work!

Re: My '73 CL350

Nice! ;D
I like the hybrid stamp/sheet metal framed Hondas better than the frames just made out of stampings. Maybe it's just me but I never got into
the all sheet metal chassis bikes. At least a bike like yours has some round tubing in the most seen areas and the stamped area are a lot smaller than on some other Honda frames.

I'm still getting over the fact that your wife bought it for you. Well done Mate. Well done.

I've got two weeks to get it ready for a local bike and hot rod show. Next is painting the tank and seat.

Damn man, this is really depressing me. Last I saw this bike it was untouched, and so was mine. Now yours is starting to look great and mine is, well, still untouched.

You did an amazing job with that seat, by the way. Bike's looking very nice.

Re: My '73 CL350

Love the last pic too, remember to take another like that when it's done, nice shot.
