I've swapped out the bars and mirrors for those from an SOHC CB750 and I'm also running a 4:1 exhaust since these pics were taken. Running slimline LED signals, too.

I had a 76 XT500 in high school. You couldn't find a finer bike for doing wheelies. 1st thru to 4th gear was my personal best.... Not sure if I'd try that sort of thing now though!
