My new XS750... 3-1 Yosh header and slip-on.

The "Shop truck" got a fairing...

Went for a little ride on our near perfect 70 degree day. And the fairing was fucking awesome to have.

I'm in Iowa. Are they in good shape? I reallly just need the sections after the headers since they're all one big piece essentially.

A fairing?! You are getting old Louie! Keep 'er nekked.

Dood... This isn't my a project bike, haha. It's my 100% daily rider. My wife has taken over my 01'hd2500 4x4 pick-up. And yes, I'm getting old. And besides, I am not trying to catch any tail. I dont think my wife (23 yrs old) would appreciate that.

She may be hard to replace @ my age.

I'da Have to say the one with you on the bike had to be the reason she married you. With a face like that how could she not love you! LOL!

I have a XS750E model with the 3-1 exhaust and I and wanting to convert to some K & N RC-1250 cone filters. What setting did you move the needle on the plunger to (assuming you have the Mikuni MII carbs)? Did you leave it at the middle stock setting? Also did you bump the jet sizes up any?

With just pod filters I believe you don't need to adjust the needle setting. When you put a freer flowing exhaust on; you will then need to change the settings. The best thing to do is swap out the plugs with new and install the pods. Take the bike for a quick ride through the rpm range and then pull the plugs to see what they look like; adjust accordingly. You can also look into a color tune for more real time mixture tuning.

OK thanks. I am getting me K&Ns today. I am having charging issues and I am in the mists of rebuilding a better set of carbs. Thought I would swap the jets since I was in there.
