K so as the title says, I need a bit of help. Basically i simply cannot decide how to plug the petcock hole, and the filler hole on the tank. Any suggestions on how to do this would be awesome
Ive heard bad things about Kreem. Supposedly, If you miss even a pinhead sized area and rust starts to form at that point, it will cause the Kreem around it to flake... which makes a mess in your gas tank
If you just cover it from the outside, doesnt the cream get down onto the threads and that would mess them up?? My friend did mine, I think he used a piece of heat shrink, and put two screws through it and into the pet mount holes, and that created an outside seal. I think that is what he did, but I didnt too pay attention really.
its kinda too late to decide which one i want to use. i mean i already bought the stuff and I just finished kreeming the tank yesterday, It looks like it turned out alright so far...
