Here is another cool car I cage 3 years ago. My first attempt at a full Aluminum chassis car. Car was purchased by a local dealer and he wanted to compete in the car so he brought it to me for a full Road Race Cage.
Fitting the main hoop to the chassis
Next was fitting the A-pillars
Door bars and gussets fitted and door re-attached
Tilton pedal and custom steering column fitted.
Car finished with seats mounted and paint added to the cage.
I Must admit to everyone this car was a little intimidating to start. It basically a brand new car and an expensive one to say the least and to completely tear it down and install a permanent roll cage was kind of stressful at least for a day or two. After that it was a very fun and exciting project.
