Here is another cool car I cage 3 years ago. My first attempt at a full Aluminum chassis car. Car was purchased by a local dealer and he wanted to compete in the car so he brought it to me for a full Road Race Cage.

I Must admit to everyone this car was a little intimidating to start. It basically a brand new car and an expensive one to say the least and to completely tear it down and install a permanent roll cage was kind of stressful at least for a day or two. After that it was a very fun and exciting project.

Nice to be a car dealer :D Awesome project - would have been a blast I bet once you got over the fear of ripping out all the expensive interior bits.

Is that a Z8 under the covers?

holy cow! feeling a little jealous right now...
Did the owner take you for a little test drive after you got all the work done? ;)

I have only seen the car at the track since car has been done. No rides as of yet. He has updated the engine management and throttle body and I think it is up around 650 hps. Car is pretty much a show piece for his other Company.

I think it was a Z3 under the covers. Not sure, shot was taken at owner's garage. That was/is the wife's car.

When I used to do 12v I would lose hair over tearing out a brand new interior from exotics.
