I wanted to bring the site up to date on the latest version of the forum software, which required massive database changes. If I waited another 6 months to do it, the site would be getting too big to safely upgrade.

As one who's eyes are not as young as they once were, I find the new format easier to read.

However - white, grey, pink or puce - without all the hard work behind the scenes - we wouldn't be conversing across 6000 miles + of ether - so ALL I have to say is a big thanx to the originators and all who sail in her..................
