No all of the bends were perfect transitions. Some slightly tapered straight cuts were used after fitting the head pipes.
I also made some new bolt down flanges that welded onto the pipe.

acm177 said:Yeah-- I agree. 1 1/2 is bigger, but it does fit... At the time I bought the smallest available from the catalog. When I do them over, id change to 1 1/4 in tubing for the headpipes.
The collector shown in the photo was purchased online (I forget where). The outlet is a slip fit reducer that works with the 1 1/2in tube.
I ended up scrapping that collector and making my own collector due to fitment issues.
