pics of you riding you bike

A LOT of pics played in quick succession, does that count too?

What an INCREDIBLE video! God, I got a little weepy just watching the intro! I think you've captured what the cafe bike is all about; brought back from the dead, chopped down into a thing of beauty and freedom at the twist of the throttle! Thanks!

I planned on doing something very similar. Your execution is amazing. Well done. I too want to get rider shots. Will you kindly show us your camera setup? My plan was to get some front shots like you did, but also build a fixture behind the rider to get those shots as well.

Oh, and I've always loved that bike!

Thanx!!

About the camera set-up: For the rider's shot I just used a 60 cm's (2 feet) long iron strip. Drilled a hole in both ends, used the first hole to bolt it onto the triple tree and the second to bolt the camera on the strip. I'll make a pic this weekend if I remember. Most other shots were also made with a (shorter) iron strip with holes. That way you can mount a camera anywhere on the bike as long as there's a hole or a bolt. The camera is just a normal digital cam (Canon Ixus-something)

LOL, you hung your digi off the bottom of the bike :)

I think I'm going to pony up for some bullet cameras. I get what you're saying about the front fixture. Thanks!

Here is the full wardrobe rundown: Belstaff Trialmaster (Old Style) waxed cotton jacket, Lee Parks gloves, Vampire Defender boots, G-Star '96' jeans, and of course - Noel's favourite - Ateliers Ruby Belvedere 'France' helmet.

My company was sponsering the newest "extreme makeover home edition" so they paid us to go out there and see the build yesterday. Figured hey... nice day so lets take the bikes! My buddy and i hopped on the scoots and took off! one of the girls in the cars next to me snapped these pics as we flew down the road!

No pics as the bike isn't finished so can't really ride it far but took it for a quick spin and then mucked about with the video afterwards.

Hey was that the Extreme Home Makeover in Lena, IL "The Stott House" I know they had one going on their last week as it was just 15 minutes from my hometown where my parents still live. Had friends that volunteered their time to that build.
