Post a pic of your latest purchase

Not a purchase, but it's mine now.

Yesterday I get a text from my friend who does Architectural Salvage that he found two old Hondas in an old house. He wanted one, the other was mine if I wanted it.

A possible Direction... but not anytime soon :)

The motor is locked up, so I took the plug out and filled it with oils. No Seat, Tank isn't in great shape, but it can be fixed.

It's an S90 and it's stamped on the frame, but the front fender is not an S90 fender from my brief bit of research... not sure what it's from. Any ideas?

It's a CL90 fender, I think a lot of those little guys came that way. I have two in similar shape, both s90, one with the CL fender.

Lemme see what I have, I'm gonna end up parting them both as I don't have time or money for them....

That was an S90 in Britain, my brothers would do 90mph without too many mods (did have clip on's and rear-sets)
CL90 had high level exhaust

I have a neat, supposedly early HRC "race" pipe for the S90, a full 1"od, no muffler but a little rotatable lolipop for a baffle. It's factory stamped and the plating is of similar quality to the original exh. I had planned on a 187cc all honda internal/Takegawa DOHC head and a 28mm flatslide....thought that might make a cute little beastie.

90?! Wow. I read they will do 60, but 90 seems crazy on that little thing!

I'd be somewhat interested in the pipe... I't certainly a back behind the back-burner project, but the CL70 I picked up a few weeks back is close to running and I might get rid of that to finance this, but the CL is a K0 and in better shape... It's a toss-up whether to part this out, or keep it. Right now it's holding the back corner of the shop down, so for now it stays... :D If I can gather the right parts for the right prices, it will become something, someday.

Nice find guys! Heres my pickup after selling my XR600R:

And here it is again after a Yoshimura full-system:

She's a little Honda CBR125R with full rego and new tyres that I picked up for $800 as a runaround. I'm thinking of ditching the stock instrument cluster up front and going single large lamp with legit clipons... possibly just the stock high-risers turned upside down.

WHatchya rekon?

Cheers - boingk

Got some red fork gaitors, going to swap out fork and caliper mount on 360 tomorrow

Taking the plunge. Got a sweet deal on this brand new welder and cart, and am signed up at the local college for a 1 day MIG course in a few weeks. But of course I'll likely have to set it up and see what happens when I plug it in :D

I've purchased three of that same MIG for work and have nothing bad to say about them! You'll love it and it's quite an easy unit to use!

I got this for Christmas:

The draw is only around 10W with the high beam on, which makes it a much better option (power usage-wise) than my old halogen light. I'm hoping to get it hooked up this weekend to see if it's bright enough to actually use.
