I have to get down to the dmv. happy birthday to me...license expires tomorrow. They open at 730 I only had like 5 minutes to spend on this.
And Haircuttergirl takes the lead.
But I've been in possession of mine for less than 24 hours. How long have you had yours?VonYinzer said:Better than that Honda
I'm not sure yet if I'll keep those scrambler pipes or not, as a general rule I really prefer cb pipes. We werent entirely sure its a '72, we just think it is. Thanks for the input- I'll get everything sorted out and start a build thread soon.HerrDeacon said:Congrats on the new bike, the smile says it all. If it is a '72 (actually a K4, not a T) then some of the parts on it don't look original (no disc brake on '72 only '73) and the pipes are off a CL. Not that any of that matters, but thought I'd mention it in case you are looking for parts. You can compare the frame number against the ones on this site to check what model it is:

You're on. Don't forget... the rubber side stays on the road.VonYinzer said:Look at the VIN tag on the neck.
And when you finish the Honda, I'll race ya on the R5. We'll settle this.
Good for you. You and E are gonna have a lot of fun with that. What's the plan?haircuttergirl said:Woot! I now have a bike '72 cb350t... $100
Needs battery, carbs, wiring harness... I have my first project. Can't wait to get my hands dirty on her ;D
I have a few ideas but... I kinda want to play around and see what it "speaks" to me, if that makes sense. Maybe a great idea will hit me soon I'm wanting to get started right away. Just don't know where to start! Glad I have E & friends to help.CCRider said:Good for you. You and E are gonna have a lot of fun with that. What's the plan?

I saw this 1997 Rebel 250 on CL for $400 and couldn't say no. I'm going to see if my mom want's to get back into riding, couldn't see a better bike to get back on. Needs a new battery and carb clean. Jumped it and it fired right up and no rattling noises from the engine.
