Congrats on the new bike, the smile says it all. If it is a '72 (actually a K4, not a T) then some of the parts on it don't look original (no disc brake on '72 only '73) and the pipes are off a CL. Not that any of that matters, but thought I'd mention it in case you are looking for parts. You can compare the frame number against the ones on this site to check what model it is:

CB: http://www.motorera.com/honda/h0350/sport350.htm
CL: http://www.motorera.com/honda/h0350/scram350.htm
I'm not sure yet if I'll keep those scrambler pipes or not, as a general rule I really prefer cb pipes. We werent entirely sure its a '72, we just think it is. Thanks for the input- I'll get everything sorted out and start a build thread soon. :D

Look at the VIN tag on the neck.

And when you finish the Honda, I'll race ya on the R5. We'll settle this. ;)

So - hit the Paris ON swap meet early this morning and did a few laps of the area before having to hit the road.

Picked up a few small bits, the most interesting of which was this tank. Seems to be a Benelli 175 Enduro tank. Has a cool little compartment and strap mounts on it, which is what appealed to me. Have no real idea what I'll use it for, but for $10 I couldn't leave it behind. Dent free and solid. Needs a cleaning inside, but once it's cleaned up a bit I think there will be some really interesting lines on it. There are subtle bends in the steel that aren't showing up well given the current condition of the paint.

I have a few ideas but... I kinda want to play around and see what it "speaks" to me, if that makes sense. Maybe a great idea will hit me soon :) I'm wanting to get started right away. Just don't know where to start! Glad I have E & friends to help. :D

I went and saw my mom today and she had a surprise for me.

Now I just need to find some dirty carbs. She has been looking for one for me for a couple of months. She was hoping to find a larger one, but for free I can't complain. It is big enough for motorcycle and small engine carbs.

Nice score on the ultrasonic cleaner. Those bad boys can be EXPENSIVE.

I saw this 1997 Rebel 250 on CL for $400 and couldn't say no. I'm going to see if my mom want's to get back into riding, couldn't see a better bike to get back on. Needs a new battery and carb clean. Jumped it and it fired right up and no rattling noises from the engine.

Thats a steal. If your Ma isn't into it and you want to make a few bucks, I know a girl here who's been looking for a 250 to learn to ride on for awhile. I bet she would jump on that.

Damn. I want your mom! Last thing mine bought me was a homosexual fitness magazine. No, I didn't know they had those either.

She is alright. She has her MC license but usually just rides pillion with the old man. And a tool junkie to boot.
