Post a pic of your latest purchase

Nice work on the brackets - I've got a couple pairs of 'Converta' Y brackets here I really ought to sell. Home made is always better, especially on a race bike :)

Thats a steal. If your Ma isn't into it and you want to make a few bucks, I know a girl here who's been looking for a 250 to learn to ride on for awhile. I bet she would jump on that.

It would indeed be a haul out there. One of these days I'll sneak out that direction on a bike. Currently the ones I have would either be too uncomfortable or not big enough :) The market here is pretty decent for this little bike. I just got 2 brand new seats for $60 shipped! Can't complain. Hopefully it jump starts my ma back into riding. (she was rear-ended at 40mph while sitting at a stop light...douche was 16, texting and didn't even hit the brakes...I'm just glad she's alive :) )

Texters suck balls. I was out fishing with my son yesterday for Fathers day and we were heading back home and a dumb chick was doing 20-30 mph over the limit txting and came around a blind corner on my side of the friggin road, thank god I was in the SUV and could take the ditch without damage. I almost turned around to follow her to tell he she was a stupid B!tch and almost killed me and a 8 year old, but I probably would have ended up in Jail so I just swore one more time and headed home. Then did some work on the CX and drank a bunch of beer so I got over it.

Pretty sure it would be easy enough to block all texting while the phone is moving, they pretty much all have GPS installed
Problem is, lawmakers get too much cash from various people so a couple of deaths doesn't warrant forcing people to stop being less stupid

The technology has been there for years to kill texting while driving and only allow calls to 911.
The problem is not only the lawyers, but the greedy carriers. They make a ton of money with texting.
Insurance companies should give a discount to people that use text blocking while driving.
This is the only way that I see this getting solved.
What is so important in life that one needs to text while driving?

So no one on a train can text? No passengers? What if you are riding in a taxi?
Issue is people are stupid and people should be held responsible. Issue isn't the "tool"".

Nothing.
Punish the people that mess up.
But looking for something that will end XXXX is just a wild goose chase.

This is the problem ::)
Train tracks rarely run along roads
It could also be done on speed, tough shit if your in a taxi, if things are that important you'll probably be talking not texting

Weekend score:

I know. It's too clean, too cute, too .... nice.

Don't worry. I'll fix that. ::) :D

Unless you're in the Midwest US, in which case they generally do. :)

Auto shutoff is a non-starter. It's not just an industry problem, the market wouldn't stand for it...and within hours of release there would be a patch.

Can't legislate stupidity.
