Mixes XS. Going to pair them up with a set of straight rate springs. Most likely from Sonicsprings.

Yeah, she's ugly and with upside down clubman bars to boot! Couldn't say no to the price though, with a clean title. If anyone has some 1986 yamaha Radian side covers or clocks they want to get rid of...let me know :) Carburetors have already been pulled for cleaning ;)

Nice score! Ive wanted to try one of those out for years now.

Nice score on the Radian. I have an 86' also, all original. Neat little bike. Carbs are a bit of a bitch though and you can't remove the damn airbox without pulling a few engine mounts.....

Picked these up the other day. going to make 1 bike out of the 2. Plans are for a brat style build

This one runs, in ok shape but no title

This one has a locked up motor but has a title

That's always the case, huh? Good luck.

Ah, so that's why all of those were off...ugh. And it's one of those bikes that was built AROUND the damn airbox! My box side boots are really dry rotted/hard so I'm not sure if I feel like going through carb tuning with "pods" or not. I suppose we'll see how much new boots cost if I can find them. Thanks guys! This should be a fun one. Really not sure where to go with it yet.

Soak the boots in Xylene (found at paint stores) overnight (outside, stinks and is highly flammable). Should get them softened up and clean.

For a second I thought we were still talking about the Hondaline enduro "boots" up above a few posts. Then I read the rest about the airbox boots. I was gonna say...you're probably right...soften or disintegrate, one of the two :)

Xylene is great stuff. Works a lot better for paint prep than acetone as well IMO.

Noted! Thanks Von and 1sttimer. I've normally always just yanked out the boxes and put another method of filtration :) I'll give that Xylene a shot!

Not exactly a purchase, as this was given to me, but I feel it's worth mentioning.

What you're looking at is what's left of my Dad's '47 Indian Warrior

It last ran in 1972 and it's been in this state ever since. He's got pieces of it scattered all about his warehouse. Here are some parts we scrounged up. He's got parts from 3 different Indian engines here so the idea is to get 1 working engine out of the lot.

Wish me luck :-\

Yup. H as the little fan. You here it when you turn the key, but not running.

Are they three different plates I see in the box that you can use for different mounts? Pretty cool. Will have to keep this in mind for one of my bikes.

I bought this bottle of Vodka last night because it's from a local distillery and it has a Chimera on the label. Unfortunately, I woke up this morning and it was empty and I can't remember what happened to it.

Oh yeah... I got some new headlights for the cage, too. Matte black backing and HID with projectors.

Now is a great time in Wisconsin to shop for projects. People are clearing out their crap before the snow starts coming. I picked up several things for spring projects.

1982 Yamaha XV750 for $200. no title. getting one from Vermont. Carbs are on their way to PJ for rebuild. Picked up a 1992 GSXR600 USD front end for it for $200 locally.

1983 Suzuki GR650 Tempter for $200. no title. working on getting one through Vermont. Carbs are on their way to PJ for rebuild.

1975 Honda CB200T for free. No title. Got it home and discovered the frame is broken. Otherwise it shifts and engine has good compression so I think I "won" so far. I picked up a CB175 frame on ebay for $50 to replace it. purchased some CL175 high pipes for $110 and a drum brake front wheel setup for $60. Will get title thru Vermont once new CB175 frame comes.

Yamaha XS750 tank for $85. no dents. inside looks perfect. No key for gas cap so I will probably end up drilling through lock. I got a deal at $85 for this perfect, dent free tank from a local salvage yard because it doesn't have the key. I took a flashlight and shined inside petcock hole and it looks like brand new metal inside.
