Finally took a pic before cutting it up. There's 48 aluminum pens, 60 brass plungers, 20 medium hammer heads, 12 large hammer heads, and 12 small hammer handles, and a couple experiments in that pile.

I see Mal hasn't moved the torque wrench since I was last there. ;)

It's actually about 8" away from where it was. Cause I bumped it bringing the material in :)

R1 or R6 ? Those are about the best looking factory wheel out there I think

Same same for the front, R1 has a wider back rim and even some random years have the same 5-6" X 17... Sweet deal though $165 for brand new, I needed the 5 spoke red stripe to match the back (almost new for $100) and I have the 3 spoke set to sell with all the hardware... cush, sprocket, rotors, bearings, spacers, axles and even 80% tires so I will break even or close all in.

...and a Partridge in a Pear Tree!

Some more new parts for the wife's CB

I think it's ok to post this up now... GS750 that Charlie was kind enough to sell me and hold onto for a few weeks while I am on the road for work. Pretty excited to pick it up and get it on the rpad for the last month or so of the riding season in PA.

Nice Mike, gotta say I'm excited for you to have a bike that runs!

It does run right? :)

Got a tad busy this weekend. Brand new nissin calipers, a slimline tank for my triumph, Harley tank for the wall, assorted doodads, but I'm the most excited about that headlight. Guy had it on a z50, I mentioned it was actually for an Mr175 elsinore. He said if I brought him the proper light, I could have it. So jenn and I found the right light, put it on, and I got a proper headlight for my bike that I thought I'd never afford.

That elsinore light is so rad. I would get rid of the fairing on the XL for one of those.

Just show us all up, why don't ya...
Nice work, good to see you.

P.S.- All aluminum on the pen. Inbox me, have a couple other ideas.

Not even close in cool factor, but I now have three sets of Air/Fuel mix devices for the CB... you might say "I got the carbs" ;D a bit dusty however the many picks (jus 2 here) show a really clean set, should be able to give en a rinse and run em to see how things go, Honda had some reason for changing something that worked great for many years, but they also have made poor decisions before and never turn back... Honda will never admit a failure and that may be why the CV came quickly after... we'll see  free boots to boot!!
