Some more new parts for the wife's CB
Bud, what kind of bike are you building for your Wife? Is that a complete wiring harness in that second photo?

Got a tad busy this weekend. Brand new nissin calipers, a slimline tank for my triumph, Harley tank for the wall, assorted doodads, but I'm the most excited about that headlight. Guy had it on a z50, I mentioned it was actually for an Mr175 elsinore. He said if I brought him the proper light, I could have it. So jenn and I found the right light, put it on, and I got a proper headlight for my bike that I thought I'd never afford.

Nice haul of goodies man

Disclaimer: I love vintage bikes. I love building them, wrenching and riding. However, I want to start doing more and longer trips and I need to make sure I don't break down in the mountains or prairie...

So this Yamaha Bolt happened the other day. "Used" with 18 miles. Guy bought it for his kid, kid didn't like it, guy traded it back in. I've had my eye on one for the last year, choosing it over a HD forty eight for a number of reasons. Anyhow, true to form, I have a ton of parts in the mail and changes planned before I've even picked it up (40 days and nights of rain in Ohio). Can't wait to start riding!

Picked up some "saddlebags" yesterday too...

After going to Mid-Ohio I realized how much I miss having a pit bike.
Picked up this little '77 XR75, the first year of the 5-speed. She RIPS! During the test ride I did an accidental power wheelie ;D. She came with a clean title, a bassani pipe and a big box of spare parts including: Clutch, chain, sprocket, cables, carb, side covers, fenders, forks, and other stuff i haven't looked at yet.

Speaking of Pit bikes, picked this up at Mid-O. Thanks again, Lucas!!

Also picked up this tail light (and a set of engine guards which aren't pictured).

Made a quick under fender mount.

Tune,

You should make the 3 hour trek over and buy the 15+ project/parts bikes I'm about to clear out of the shop.

That would be fun for a minute... I like the Shovel because it's a bastard and would like a dreamy just to prove a point, but I have to stay focused for another month or two and get some stuff done... new iron is a major distraction.

I saw the Iron Head for sale, Jrod - you have a shovel for sale too?

I picked up two of them on a trade for a box of Triumph parts, and a frame. Keeping one, selling the other to pay for building the other.
