Post a pic of your latest purchase

Cool, They look so similar these days but I was going to guess highlander just from the height of the hood/bumper. Should be good for a few hundred thousand miles.

We got the Highlander. Five in our family, so the 3rd row definitely helps.

Congrats! Have been pretty much a "GM Guy" most of my life but after doing a bunch of research looking for a pick-up I ended up w/ a Tundra. Very impressed w/ it; comfortable, excellent towing/load capacity, and the attention to detail in the design is very impressive. I bet that Highlander is an excellent ride.

Toyota IS Awesome, but I had a taco last, ran good leaked some air so noisy but now I'm back to GMC

That Highlander is good for 500K... get it rust protected or like my dad... spray the entire underside and inside door panels with penetrating oil then drive down a dusty road.

Miller copy push pull spool gun $40 on Amazon I got two one for parts jic ::) reviews are good but we'll see.

1994 Yamaha YZF750R with a 1000 Thunderace motor. Cheap. Nice carbs, swingarm and clean title came with it.

Meh, not a purchase, or a motorcycle, but still cool, and even better.... free. Homebuilt roaster. It was a project started by my buddy and his dad in the early 90's. Custom frame, british ford (anglia) suicide front beam, narrowed Studebaker rear end, pinto 4 banger with a 4 speed manual. Hand built body. I'm thinking a gl1000 lump would fit the bill though =)

My username might be giving this away, but if it has the pinto block, locate a cosworth 16v head. I have a dual Webber carb manifold for it. 2 litres of screaming Ford with a bulletproof bottom end.

Look on the block and see if it has a 200 or 205 marking.

Good catch Doc! I had to look them up.

Not so fast mang... those are for racing, grip like a mo fo and shatter like glass if not used correctly, You likely know already but others may not... b sure you get sintered pads for those also.

Good to know Tuna, Thanks! I'm fairly sure this is an ex race bike, likely that's how the original 750 motor is no longer with the bike and the 1000 was in it's place.
