Post a pic of your latest purchase

I find my milling machine to be a lot like my motorcycles and race cars. They are never quite good enough, there's always something more to be modified or adjusted, and if my fiance found out how much money I spend on any of them she would certainly leave me on the spot.

Ha! I dated a girl for quite some time before I got in to bikes. My love affair with bikes was the beginning of the end of that one. The current, she's a photographer. She spends an ungodly amount on equiptment for that. She can't get on my ass for doing the same.

It's a complete Dunstall body kit. No Idea what it came off but I suspect it was a CB750. It has been modified to fit a GT750 now and that was an interesting exercise. Making all the mounting brackets was even more fun with no decent pictures and current Dunstall owners remarkably unwilling to share details. Surprised me after spending so much time here with people willing to share. Maybe this place has spoiled me.. :)

A new screen cost almost as much as the kit - not quite but not far off.. Ouch. It's good though. No complaints about quality or speed of shipping. But the brackets plus screen are turning this cheap body kit into something frightfully expensive. I can see why there are so few around.

Man, I've been there before too. In fact, most of my projects seem to go that way! :)

It'll be worth it though... nice score! :D

Not a purchase, more of a score.

Picked up the drill press, bench, low pressure spray gun, oil can and BFH from a mate who is moving house.

Very nice score, man!
Thanks mate. Not sure what brand the press is but I do know I am the third owner. Belonged to my mates room mate and his father before him.

Needs a bit of a clean up and a bit of maintenance from not running for a while.

I "purchased" this with blood and sweat pulling it out of a dumpster. Has a few air leaks, but it works =)

Bought this on Saturday, 1982 Z1000 with 1100 barrel and pistons, Kerker pipe, Exup front end and 1100 Zephyr rear end, it needs tidying up and the jetting sorting.

Sounds like you got baby ELR's big brother, if I were keeping the 750 i would source that swinger  I have some very nice adjuster parts I had vapor blasted for one I have but not Zephyr. cool bikes these old Kawi's

I intend to keep it, but as it's worth more than I paid for it and going up in value, it doesn't matter if it sits in the garage doing nothing.
