Post a pic of your latest purchase

Yeah the guy claims it runs but I have not got it to do that yet. Said it just needed a charge on the battery. Got it to stumble last night with a full charge but that was all. Going over the electrical and carbs this weekend. I am hoping that after it get hot the paint will just burn off. If not I got paint stripper.

The GS I got had the pipes "redone" by the PO. Trust me, you do NOT want regular spray paint to burn off, it makes some super toxic fumes basically fumed out my shop lol.

Another old school industrial chunk for the shop... I may just juice it and scrub it with a stiff nylon brush then hit it with three or four cans of clear... Awesome heavy duty design

Yes do that! Cool patina. Took a long time to make it that way!

Very nice fellow from New Zealand sent me two dash panels and a set of gauges for the KZ1R just for the cost of the ride! I do the same when I can so its nice to see.

Both a little beat up but some light persuasion and a tack or five should get em looking good again

Possibly for the GL500 if it fits but if not I am sure I can put it in something.

RC-0330 pancake filter for an XL250 motor stuffed into a 175 frame. Here's to hoping I got my measurements right.

Took a chance on this. Figured it wouldn't be too bad if it doesn't work out.

I just bought the SAME one!! Figured the same thing too. If it sucks, eh. 35 bucks down the drain. I went and ordered up the connector counterparts to it too. Let me know how yours goes if you get a chance.

Not a purchase but a 25th present. Damn my woman is good to me.

well done, should you get the urge, those front discs can be swapped for (enormous) R1 wavy ones and brackets can be found to fit hayabusa 6 pot calipers (I can find the link if you need it) I know this from vmaxxing modifications
unfortunately the wheels may be harder to sort as the drum back end makes it harder to find a swapper, though it may be possible to change the s/arm to an early/late XJ900 one and a front would more than likely need a new axle making to put in a matching wheel

Can you let us know how this gauge works out for you?? Interested in hearing your opinion since I have thought about buying one

Thanks mate.

I would love the details of the brake upgrade. I need to replace most of the front system because the hoses are beginning to perish.

I don't mind the old drum brake. I have read about an xj wheel swap to a larger rim.
