Put rear sets and clubman's on my new 72" cb350. Opted to refrain from permeant modifications in case I ever want the classic cruiser look back.

nice looking rearsets and a sweet 350
the rear brake rod hooked like that is going to be an issue that is if you ever get rear shocks that move on bumps the basis of the failure is the actuation point is too far distant of the swingarm pivot axis
which causes as the rear wheel goes up and down it pulls and pushes on the brake pedal
this makes it impossible to have an up stop on the brake pedal,if you do have a stop and try to adjust freeplay to a minimum, a large bump could skid the rear tire for you ,which means you cannot adjust the slack/freeplay down to a managable amount and the amount you prefer to have
to make it a good usable brake you use the stock rod and brake pedal shaft but use the female spline section of the brake pedal to attach a short arm this is where the rod from rearset goes
believe it ,i didn't make anything up for you i know from my own experience it does suck having the brake pedal all over the place and pumping up and down on the bumps
oh yeah and you need the front fender or a fork brace the fender and its inner structure help maintain the forks resistance to flexing twisting and the fender stay has a provision to keep the cables from getting sucked up by the tire
plus yert gonna shit in your face flung up from the tire

besides like the clubman bars, the lack of front fender , it looks silly, hard to say which is worse but they are both bad for riding

I could seriously just fondle things like that, never actually build shit and be happy.

Looking forward to the this one from the get go mang... your stuff inspires others to a higher level and that's the real reason we do this ain't it ::)

I will be picking up a new to me '05 "tractor" on Wednesday.

I went to look at it this evening, and it was in my "school colors" so I obviously HAD to buy it. 8)

Bought a stupid cheap xt350. Leaks oil, no compression or spark. Seems like a winner huh..

Mine has been working well for a few years.
They work good on aircooled VW engines also.

Be good to hear a review of this, I use ratchet straps and blocks in my poor old garage....sounds like it's gonna fall down when I pull up my GL ha ha

It's rated for 3x the weight of my GL and has mechanical stops so you can release the hydraulics and it will stay up. For 60 us I couldn't not get it.

Nice Mike. I only read the email on this and literally thought it was a tractor. This is much better.

I swear I'll get this damned chopper on the road this spring...

Picked up this pair yesterday on a whim. 89' and 90' Suzuki GSXF600's. I've got plastics, tanks, seats, etc with them too. One was a track bike the other supposedly only has about 5200 miles on the clocks. They've sat awhile under a tarp but are in good shape otherwise. No title but hey I grabbed both for a total of 140$ A couple of stoners needed weed money. Most likely at least one bike will be stripped for parts, the other ...who knows..
