Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
Hahaha!
They are made for a Honda NC31 which is a more modern 400 four. Fully adjustable nitrogen charged. The modern bike...374 lbs dry. My bike...371 lbs. dry. Perfect. They are a little longer than stock. These are 13.5", but I want that. They should be perfect. Doesn't get any more top of the line than that. With the braced swinger (needle bearing pivot) It should handle on rails. I also got a vintage Benelli fork brace here at the house. Frame will also get a little bracing love. I will have no problems with dragging a knee on this little lady.
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
I hear ya Joe! It's the way I fund my builds. I have to sell crap I don't need to buy the stuff I do. I have literally MOUNTAINS of spare parts. I just got a "free 100 listings Email"...time to get busy again!
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
Wow...I don't know how I missed this. Very excited to see this done, especially with the quality you're known for and the parts you're collecting...good on ya Kanti

Thanks brother, I've been collecting for a long time, and still am, but hopefully the picture in my head will match the finished project. So far so good!

Thank you man. I am so stoked about it. It's exactly what I envisioned. I can't wait to see it either. I am getting so stoked now. Starting to get to the "losing sleep" stage.
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
Wow...glance away for a day or two and there's Ohlins and shiny paint being flung about! This is going to be really sweet Kiley, I've been impressed with Gretta but something tells me this will be the best of the two.
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
I have a hunch that you're right Swagger. I am fueled by an almost unhealthy obsession with CB400f's, and I swore to build the end all 400f with this one, so there is a lot of motivation to make this one perfect. I love Gretta. She was an exercise in art and science. But this is something totally different.
