Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
Alright....you've got a point Mike. First beer is on me next week.
And jr, I use a HF 6" buffer first starting with black compound, then brown, then white. The little areas I can't get to with that I hit with a dremel. I use mostly the cone wheel on that.
I like how this Yoshi pipe doesn't have smooth bends in that pressure waves hate, but rather the jagged edges that are completely contradictory to logical thought for smooth flow. I read it somewhere on here about that, but I can't find it!
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
I am not sure if I really like the half polished/ half not look...I think it would be better all one or all other. But if its therapeutic, hey, knock yourself out!
Just kidding, of course. Those look stellar! ;D
Re: Project Celeste, CB400four....reaiizing my dream bike.
Thanks for staying interested fellas. t71, yeah, I had to go ahead and polish the rest, it drove me crazy too with the two faced look!
Red, I love that look on The Yosh pipe too. It was designed that way from a performance standpoint and for clearance issues while leaning into turns. Tuned length equal downtube headers. Very nice. The only issue with the Yosh pipe is that you have to remove it to change the oil filter. BUT a company did inprove on this design called MC Again. They designed a Yosh style pipe that has clearance for the filter. This is the pipe I will be using, It's just an improved design. Looks like this:
Not much new to report except that I got a call from my shipper stating that the bike and spare motor will be at my door at 10AM tomorrow morning. Then let the fun begin!
Also, here is a small package I got on my doorstep today straight from Japan.....let the drooling commence....
