The 19" Harley narrow glide rim came in, also picked up a 40 spoke 18x2.5 to lace up. I read somewhere that due to the Harley rim being a drop center the spokes may be short enough to work with the 18"...well the spoke are snug but I'm going add washer under the nipples to give a few extra threads for truing the wheel.
I'll update later on how it goes.
Laced Harley hub and spokes to 18" rim
Thanks for looking!
BarnBurner said:Looks mean!! Were new stem bearings all you needed to fit those GSXR forks on there?
JustinLonghorn said:Very nice.
That is the exact color scheme I was going to throw on my RD.

GoingsMoto said:I really like the headlight, I think it looks perfect with the front end. Are you going to make a swing are support? I really like how the seat is small, you should fit like a glove on in. I also think the rear shocks are great it really gives it a race look, what is the distance eye to eye?
Kanticoy said:Man Peter, just caught up on this brother. It's looking extremely rad man!!!! I love it. I think the headlight size is right on. The only thing I would do to it is move it a couple of inches further away from the forks so it doesn't look so snub nosed if that makes sense. What are you doing for hubs (must have missed it somewhere). I am always curious about what people do for running modern Rotors on spoked wheels. I came up with xs650 hub with cbr rotors for my gsxr forks on the 400.
Anyways, great job man!!! Keep it up!
Edit: Nevermind I see Harley hub now. What Rotors did you find to match up with that rotor brake pattern on the hub? I'm set but I'm always curious what the think tank knowledge holds!!!
