Jup. At summertime i can drive allmost 200km`s on nice gravel thru 2 countys without seeing tarmac, allways had a dirtbike or more in the shed to make the wildlife more urban...lol ;D
Mostly big twostrokes, but they are more and more difficult to come by.
Had to sell my 2 x yz 490`s (82 and 86) and my Rm 465 (early 80`s) when my "better half left.
Having an xr650 r now that awaits a leftside enginecase that takes forevercant wait to put the spiked tires and do some serious drifting on a near by lake. You should try it ;)

That sounds like pure freedom haha, especially the spike tire drifting thing, closest thing i can get here is a gravel parking lot by the beach lmao.

If u can get your hands on a suitable bike you are welcome to join whenever you want, both summer and winter Sir.
When we ride the forest paths and roads we use trackbikes, the same for the lakes, will search my extern harddisc to see if i can post up a pic from last winters riding when i took an gsxr 11 with slicks full of sharp 6mm bolts on the ice, that is one of the most surrealistic moments i`ve had on a bike,a real thrill!!! ;D
Gotta bunk.

An sr500 feels light when you ride it but damn it was heavy to lift up the stairs ::) next time i'll get some help for it, had to take off the tank, seat, handlebars and frontwheel for it to be small enough for the narrow stairway. And it almost fell back down too.

Anyway, i have some small tweaks and mods to do to it, but basically it's is done (for 2014). if i still have it next winter, i will change a few things around again.
Took a cold but fun evening ride with my best friend(he also has an sr, actually he has two lol), was nice to be on a bike again, on the road and not in some dark basement:)
Hope you enjoyed this build and thanks for the comments, it means a lot to me. Ride safe!
