She may not be the prettiest girl...75 CB360

40 bucks Thats great. I kinda like that fender for jenns bike how wide is it on the inside? I'm thinkin I'd cut it off and weld some round bar to the end of it. Are you gonna use the duck bill? Keep it up.

Spent a little bit of time in the shop this weekend.

Got the motor officially mounted. Had to bend the mount a bit. A small torch, a BFH, a larger than life pipe wrench, a huge crescent wrench, and , my brute force was all it took. Though I still need to make some front mounts, just need some plate.

I figured out if I put the coils in line instead of side by side they will fit under the tank, so that's where they will go.

Got the rear brake stay all buttoned up.

Threw the bags on, this is what it will look like:

With all the hard lines on the bike, the OG headers might not be so hot. Too roundy? Love the new look.

Nice Justin, looking good so far. I like those bags with the hardtail. Sometimes the leather buckle bags look like crappy cruiser bags but the angle of those suite the frame and they are not huge. Keep it up. I hope to get at my bikes over the holidays and get some updates.

Cheers,

Mike

Agreed, sir. I actually want to run the CL360 high pipes on this ride.

Indie,

The bags were made by La Rosa designs. Just vinyl, but they are perfect shape/size for the bike.

The right side bag will actually be my battery box. I will weld tabs to the frame, and have everything suspended on a sheet of ABS plastic or sheet metal. That way, things won't be just bouncing around in a bag.

My seat was finally delivered, didn't get a chance to do anything with it other than take a couple of pics.

Here it is:

I know this is a terrible picture, but here is where I am mounting my coils.

I have these welded into the underside of the top tube.

Coils are lined up and hide perfectly behind the tank. Like this:

I also started working on the rear fender mount/placement. And, as you can see in the photo I did a whole lot of grinding on my shitty welds.

I am going with a single mount. The fender will never have a passenger on it.

Right on Justin! This will be a pretty sweet ride. Are you adding some sort of fender mounts at the rear? With one mount only, vibrations and the stress of riding can crack the fender if its not tightly secured.
