Alright so im finally gettin around to rebuilding my 360. Bought it over the summer and rode it until I think I blew a ring so its time to rebuild and customize. Bought it bone stock and started trying to get it customized to at least look like a cafe bike. Started tearing it down today, got the engine out today and then ran into a bunch of stripped screws so im stalled until tomorrow. Im not to go good with build threads so ill try to keep pictures rolling.
First day home
what it looked down, I cut the seat and seat foam down the customized the rear end to fit, for anyone wanting to rag on no wearing a helmet I rode around my driveway
Gonna be a slow build sadly, I only get to work on it on the weekends when I come home from school.
Plan for next weekend is to finish the engine tear down, its pretty close just needs a few more things. Ordering new gaskets and bolt kit as well as whatever I find needs to be replaced while looking at the internals.
Also looking for a 6 spd tranny if anyone knows where I might be able to find one.
Made some more progress today, have to go back to school now though so next weekend I want to get the pistons pulled and finish breaking down the case, then meet with my buddy and have him show me what all I need to replace component wise
Is this your first time engine build or have you done this before ?
Also, the link to my July rebuild. You might find something useful.

You can swap in a six speed from a CB or CL, but you need the gears and the drum. The shaft and countershaft aren't necessary (I don't think), but it's usually all sold together.
Good deal. A quick FYI though... you probably won't be able to pull to redline in 6th unless you find a few more ponies. 6th is just for dropping the revs a bit if you do a lot of highway driving. 5th is already an overdrive gear, 6th even more so.
