PJs correct my valves looked like hell...cleaned up beautifully just a minute on wire wheel. and Besides your kit should have new valve seals in it...so you need to pull em. Everything needs to be clean as humanly possible. And did you check my engine build for PJs recommended mods for the oil holes in clutch and the journals to improve feed oil to the top end?

Im going to re read when I get all my goodies in and start to put it back together
Dont hesitate to PM if any questions arise...

Wish I had people that lived closer to me that could come by and help one day to put the engine back together

South Carolina, So here my plan, I have election day off and will be coming home again to work on the bike, Im going to get all of the pieces out of the case and take it to Napa to have it cleaned in their parts washer, I wont be here over the weekend ( going to check out my new base and start looking for housing) but that should give all my other parts time to arrive. Meanwhile im also going to tear the frame down and get it to my buddy for paint.

Can anyone recommend a good set of easy to mount rear sets? Im not looking to run the rear passenger hoops

Don't ditch your passenger peg mounts just yet... Forum member Durgam_K is working on a set of custom mounts just for the 360 that uses them... ( I think more as an index for the mount. ) the desgin he came up with looks slick so far... I should have the first set soon for a test fit and to figure out the linkage lengths.

Yeah i was asking him about those, for some reason I thought they were already in production, I really liked his kit since it came with everything and cleared the kicker

Sweet thanks!!! I didnt think about that so I really appreciate it!

im not running a tach this time around, Sonreir it looked like on the engine you have pictures up of there was a cap in the tach hole, did you remove the gear on the inside as well?

It the piece in the top part of the case, that has the horsehoe shaped protrusion, sorry im being vague, compatible with the six speed transmission? I got another in my box of parts but if its compatible I dont want to pull it

I tried, but the damn thing is/was stuck. I may end up just cutting it.

Not sure what you mean about horseshoe shaped piece?
you can't fit a 6 speed transmission without changing the shift drum and selectors
I make tach block off plugs, you can remove drive gear but I make them so it isn't necessary if you don't want to get inside engine

i wish i had taken a picture of it, Its held in the outside of the case where the cluthc basket is by a phillips head screw, on the inside if has two smooth drums with valleys cut into them and has a piece that hangs off about three inches with a horshoe on the end of it, all mounted in the very top of the case

How much do you charge for them?

I think you're talking about the shifter spindle? The "horseshoe" part being the section that hooks into the shift drum in order to rotate it?
