Sooooooo.... What's up?

What is your project? Is it crazy cool?
I think you should take a break, grab a snack and re energize

it's ok. this one is for management.. i have to interview the owners of 3 bakeries, then do a presentation on it. good opportunity, i think. i've been trying to come up with questions that will give me some good information. making the most out of the project!

if anyone has ideas for questions, feel free to post up ;D i've come up with quite a few..

1. Why did u decide to get into the business u are in?

2. What is the one thing u focus on in ur business that makes it successful?

3.How would u describe ur management style?

4.Describe a time that something went wrong in ur business ,how did u correct it, and what lesson did u learn from it?

5.If u had your career to do over, what would u change if anything?

6.If a young person was trying to get into your business, what three things would u tell them to master or understand before they started.
May have others.Hope these help.bj

Thanks bj! Definitely helped!

Bored at work.. one kiddo, under a year old.. mostly just sleeps a lot.

So now I'm going to ask random questions..
Who plays an instrument (or used to)? What did/do you play?

I started playing accordion as a kiddo. Stopped playing for a long time, then picked it up again. Also played alto sax and trumpet.

What three places do you want to travel to most?

Played upright bass in the school symphony when I was young...

1.Ireland/Scotland/England
2.Australia
3.Japan
4.Iceland

I played bass guitar for a long time. Countless bad bands. One or two good ones.

1. New Zealand
2. Japan
3. I would really like to go back to Europe. Was born in Germany, moved back when I was 7 and left when I was 10. I saw a lot of western Europe and some of Eastern Europe, but I was too young to appreciate it.

i played sax in elementary, and quit, some brass section stuff in middle, and still play guitar, bass, drums, piano.. music was a big thing in my fam.lol.

1.italy
2.ireland
3.new zealand
4.london
5.japan
and so many other places lol

Thailand!!!!! I wanna go so bad... Might even do it this summer. I really want to make it a Indo China trip... do lots of surfing and ride an elephant!

Next on the list are

Japan
Russia
India

Riding elephants is fun!!

I've been a few places, and moved a lot. I would love to go to Ireland/Scotland, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. I would also like to re-visit some of the places I went/lived when I was a kid.

+1 Go! Me too, I lived in South Africa for 6 months as a kid and totally didn't appreciate it... I would love to go back. My family also lived in Hong Kong when I was 4 or so years old and I barely remember it so I don't really count it.

My Dad was a business man doing the Oil thing... he owns a chemical company that provides solutions for large scale oil operations. So we traveled to tons of cool places when I was younger... lots of those places I only remember because of pictures and I have always thought it would be great to go back and try and take the pictures over, just 20 years later to show how much/little the world changes. I always thought it would make a cool photography book.

Very cool idea, check out "the oxford project." Similar, just with people in a small town. Awesome book.

I was born in Texas, but have lived in Colorado, California, Louisiana, Dominican Republic, Toronto, Delaware, and spent a summer teaching in Costa Rica.

Ya... Well Im from New Jersey and moved to Pittsburgh. Now thats special... :D Sure theres no Elephant riding or tropical beaches, but theres lots of footbal and Camaros. :D :D

Lauren where were you in Costa Rica? That is one of my favorite countries ever... I try and go every couple years to catch a good swell. My Avatar is a picture of my duck diving under a wave in Costa Rica, I believe the picture was snapped at Jaco Beach.

Don't forget the mullets that go with the Camaros. ;D

When I was in school I played the guitar, Cello, Bass, and Trumpet but spent all of jr. high and high school in choir. I would like to see more of Europe and Asia. I've spent enough time in Japan, even though it kicks ass, and Korea, so Philippines, Guam, China for sure. If I get to go back to Europe I'd like to see Italy, Germany, France and Eastern Europe. I like it when somebody else foots the bill, like the people I work for because otherwise I would not have been able to go anywhere past the 7-11 down the street.

Played the piano whenever I could as a kid, play the drums on RockBand all the time - trying to convince the wife to get me a real drumset but that aint happening.

My Dad was in the Air Force so we were all over the place. Born in New Hampshire then:

1) Hahn, Germany
2) Ohio
3) Sembach, Germany
4) New Mexico
5) Staying in PA now

Been to Mexico and the Dominican Republic, but don't feel the need to travel anymore.
