might get some ideas from the film "steam boy". Love steam punk stuff and style was getting bored with the Dita/ gothabilly look so have been helping run some steam punk markets and shows in brighton in fact spent my new years eve at a steam punk club evening in l,ondaon ... great night and i got to wear cool clothes. I think the aviatrix look is a possibility.

Yeah, I have been spending way too much time looking at WWI and WWII planes and aviator goggles. I am really digging the whole "Sky Captain" aesthetic.

They did run on steam. You can make some really small engines that run on steam.
That confusing red thing up there - with the cement flywheel (I loved that!) I posted kind of as a joke. It IS slow and heavy- it runs on steam. It is a late-1800's pace vehicle for bicycle races. I have no idea how that might work- but it's not really a road-going bike. (I don't think? Who knows what kind of things were tried back then?)

Actually I have heard the term cyber-punk being used a few times recently for designs that look funtion-futuristic! If that is even a word! You get what I am saying though! I would call the one above cyber-punk!

Fender hell, he better put a chain gaurd on there before his coat-tails get caught in that sproket! How does a mortician make a mortician look like a mortician for his own funeral? Thats a conundrum!
