Love that tank! Is that a metallic gold decal under all that clear? Looks awesome!

We need to be friends :) . This is an awesome build. Let's see the bike with the painted parts on!

Re: The South Seattle Cafe project- 1978 CB750F

Great build so far. Did you install the crank/counter-shaft seals before or after you re-joined the cases? In the pics it looks like they were installed before, but I was under the impression that they needed to be pressed in after the cases were joined to avoid any seating issues... I'm going to tackle putting my stuff back together in the next few weeks, so I wanted to make sure. Thanks

Thanks for the props!

The counter shaft seal can be installed with the cases together. The crank seal behind the points has a lip on it and needs to be installed before the cases go together. Hope this helps.

Yup, that's a decal I had made by an outfit in the UK.

Perfect, none of mine have lips, I just don't want to end up having to do anything twice. Thanks man, and again, great build.

So close to starting this thing.

Larry did a great job on the paint. It looks better in person. Pictures just don't do it justice.

Wow. Mint! I like the little oil pressure gauge on the casing. Nice detail.

Re: The South Seattle Cafe project- ALMOST DONE! new pictures

Well I finally got her on the road. I have had a few issues to work out and now its running great. As of today I have about 90 miles on it. I managed to take a few pictures. I won't dare say its "done" but for now she is road worthy. I have already started collecting parts to swap over to laced wheels. I would have never been able to get this far this fast without the help of this forum and the people I have met because of it. Big shout out and thanks to Tige aka "tweakin", Larry aka "nvr2old" at www.meticulouspaint.com , Brendan "Hednut" for the guage decal design and frame kit, Hondaman, Mreick, Ken and Jake at Cycle X, Dynoman, Ebay, and anyone else that sold me parts or answered my HUNDREDS of newb questions.
