The Free CB750 - Project Zoidberg

Got the primer onto the tank. Looks like I need a little more glazing putty and sanding.

Time to bring this thread back from the dead...

This bike has been sitting in the shop for too long and so I finally decided to do something with it. Our good friend and resident DTTer, jewbacca, recently moved up to Washington from Florida and had to leave his bike behind in the sunny south.

So... we set ourselves a challenge. I've got a few more parts to collect, tires to buy, and powdercoating to get done, but most everything is ready to go. We're gonna get as many of our local riders as possible over to the shop and see if we can't get this thing put back together over a single weekend. With any luck, Ian will be riding this beast back to Washington on May 11th. That is if the beer hasn't flown a bit too freely during our 48 hour building spree.

So the gang bang didn't work out as planned, but at least I got a bit more motivation to do some work.

Most of the parts are painted and ready for assembly. Still need to clean up the spokes, find a set of tires, and get a new chain. I think I might need a tail light, too.
