Hey Checkin' in the Ohio Role Call here. Bill from Hartville (Akron/Canton area) Ohio. Just wrappin' up a 77' Kz650 cafe' project. Did a 82' CB900 Bobber/mild custom this winter 2. 8)

We do a weekly car cruise at our families farm market and winery w/D.J. and traditional cruise-in' cars but we also get a few bikes, usually the "non-bike nite" kind. http://www.maizevalleywinery.com/carcruisein Bikes especially the "wrenched n welded" kind welcome! :)

Not to sound like a commercial but, Ok I am really into bikes (From a V Strom 2 a XT 350) and I like to roll that into my work too. I'm a farmer I work all the time in the summer. So I try and mix business and pleasure all I can. I have a bitchin' pumpkin cannon that can heave a pumpkin a half mile.

We are a stop on the Dice Run with Ridin' On magazine and we are planning a new event on August 27th called Vintage Wheels, Wines and Good Times. With rally style ride down to the Steel Trolly diner in Lisbon return to a Rockabilly band, Sweet Corn and Hog roast and Pin-Up Girl contest etc. etc.

Hope sell some sweet corn have a good time and raise some $$ for a group called Stark County Veterans Heath Initiavite https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_113002698505 They try and fill in the gaps for things like eye and dental care the V.A. misses. The guys from down at Dime City even offered their help, now I just have to figure out what to ask for! :eek:

We also do a sorta more traditional "Poker Run" on June 25th to raise Money for the Susan G. Komen Cleveland 3 day for the cure walk in July. My wife is a survivor, I hate cancer :mad:

I just finished building a bobber out of a 82 CB 900. I had to make a new headlight mount but I was able tap right into the stock harness if you need to look at one. This bike had a Vetter on it I was told before I got it (It was not running when I got it missing front light).

You may want to set aside the 19-21 of August for Cleveland mods vs rockers. You also may want to enter the burning river bike build off we're doing at the event. Welcome to the forum.

Yea, sorry bout that long into. ::) , I'll turn 50 in a couple years and figure my life is 1/3 done so I better get busy. I might try and ride up Friday, the SOHC honda group coming by? But I am not sure where to go? Yep, Yep on the 19-20th. Need to gather receipts, havn't been too diligent on that as it's a "garage hobby" and I (n my wife) probably don't want to know exactly what I spend but a rough estimate is about $1500.00

Thanks for welcome, look foward to meeting U all. I will try and head to OBW in Sandusky and stop on the way if nothing else. That is if we ever get in the fields and get some work done.

Great intro! AND, this is a great destination for a ride! Since we have long since missed our target of an early spring ride/meet and greet, we should put the farm market/winery on our list of possible routes when we finally do manage to get something scheduled.

This coming Sunday (June 5th) there is a group leaving from Canton Ohio at Spikes Shine Shop on West. Tusc. St. @8:00 headed down to the AMA details up on our Cafe Racer's of Ohio Face Book page. Vintage bikes or people, one of them has to be at least 25yrs. old! LOL Spikes putting this one together.

My names Ryan, i live up on the westside of Cleveland, im pretty new to motorcyclin, let alone cafe's!!
Just got a decent 73' cb350 that ill be playin around with.

Welcome aboard! I'm in North Olmsted and there are several others around the west side. Be sure to hit the Mods vs Rockers in August. In the mean time, watch for other bike noghts, like Tuesdays at the Spitfire in Cleveland. Portnoy, DjElliot, Myself and others hit it. If you are out and about and see an old cafe, it's probably one of us. My Yamaha 650 should be back on the road in the next week or two. My daily rider is a Yamaha 850 special.

Ryan, I'm over in Avon Lake. I'll hit you up the next time we do a non douche bags bike night. We usually meet at my buddy's shop (Pride of Cleveland/Cleveland moto) in Lakewood. I have a ton of CB350 stuff if you're looking for parts. I work downtown and ride in a lot so you may catch me ripping through the westside on any given day.

Hey now! Welcome to the board. You'll have to come out to our Tuesday night tear ups. We start at Whiskey Island and usually rip down Lake Rd to Avon lake for dirty wings at the Close Quarters Bar. I'll hit you up on here when one is planned.
