ok party people, here is the side by side comparison of stretched vs. short.
think i like the short.
what do yall think?

You are right about the stretch "fitting" the frame of the bike. Personally, I like the tighter version. Perhaps it's because i'm used to looking at mine.

Question: How did you lower your headlight? I think that's what's missing on my bike. It looks like a swimmer coming up for air.

are your headlight mounts at an offset angle?
if so try flipping them.
if not, mine are made of aluminum stock, and mounted with small u-bolts.
looks good exposed or covered in a fairing

Hurley209: Are those stock size wheels? What size tires are you running? My Kumho's could be replaced any time now with a fresh set of rubbers.

Josh, are you planning on doing any "long cruises" with this bike or is it all small tight roads? Forget about the look of it, think about what kind riding would benefit from each length.

Blake, il check tire specs tonight.

Rich, I like to ride some twisties that we have near by and I use it to commute 15mins or travel like an hour away on it, when we go further we usually end up trailering so were not falling asleep on the way back lol there are some twisty highways on that route.
I guess I want both looks and To perform. I don't mind the agressive position at all for long hauls

stretched.

i think it looks more uniform, front and back, as opposed to the rear tire being inbtwn the frame rails and the front being comparatively out in space. I think, though i havent done this or really seen it too often, if you kept the stretch and threw larger rims, something like 21's that would take up the gaps, you could have a look that was relatively uniform front and back (regarding open space), and it would visually pull everything closer together.

did i make any sense there? i cant tell anymore. ::)

kinda hahaha, yes i suppose you do make sense, but man, 21" rear? that is huge!!
im going for looks as well as performance, and idk that the stretch ads any performance, besides keeping my front wheel on the ground lol

blake, sorry dude, i forgot.
i got home exhausted, but i will check tonight, send me a pm to remind me in the evening.

yeah, it would prob be a little big for the style youve got goin.

also, my opinion is biased as i am going to stretch my 360 6" pretty soon. just like the look of it.

looks good and i tottally understand why you did the change on the swing arm... but you know i loved it stretched! hahahaha still looks great manhow does she ride now?

haha, dont worry, i have the stretched swing arm on my shelf for when i get bored haha, it will be back eventually.
glad you dig it though...
idk about the ride yet, didnt get a chance to ride it last night, but this evening if im not to tired after work il take it out... im guessing steering will be alot quicker..
i did however sit on it, my feet no longer sit flat on the ground, im on my toes, and the rake is more aggresive, feels more like a sport bike type posture.

Love it, but I have always loved your bike. I am curious if you will like the ride better with the shorter swingarm.
