"The Repsol" cb500t New photos again lol

Thanks dude!
I am super anxious to find out too, I had planned to test it today but exhaustion and crazy cold windy weather un motivated me lol so I watched tt3d closer to the edge instead! It was AWESOME! (pm me if you wanna see it i have the online link).

Anyway, my only thought are that the ride will be better, at least as far as handling goes.
Makes sense any way at least right? Lol
But ya I will post results and quality pics asap.

Alright, so the weather was perfect so I went out and tore up the streets!
Lots of curvy quiet streets so I tossed it around a bit.
Definitely feels different.
First off stance of the bike is different and the riding position is way more agressive.
It made my bad wrist sore, but then again the wrist is jacked so whatever lol
Feels like a bigger bike, it feels similar to riding my friends sport bikes.
Bike feels really solid and rigid. More together, not as loose persay.
Turning feels a lot tighter, like you have more control over the bike, you can tell how counter steering comes more into Play now and lean angles also changed.
So overall I am pretty happy with it.
Will take a few rides to get 100% used to it again but I dig it.

so i decided im going to add a small exhaust shield similar to the sport classic zard exhaust toward the bottom of my muffler, covering a bit of the muffler and wrapped pipe... totally just cosmetic. lol

well, i got to it today and was able to make the zard/glenn inspired shield.
check it out.
hi res pics of the whole bike tomorrow.

well.... more changes.
while i was happy with the braking system, and was plenty enough most of the time, i wanted better performance out of it...
sooooo..
i mounted a second drilled rotor so i will now be running dual brakes of front... took a bit of work but now fits..
im waiting on a caliper set up in the mail, and will be running a zx10r master cyl.
should be a big upgrade to my stopping power.
and oh yea, this whole idea, i blame it all on chris hahaha

so my dual disc conversion is almost done.
and just like chris said, i had to file the mounting point on the fork little by little until i could the the tire to roll. thanks for that tip.
i was able to mount the caliper on the bike last night, and i love it, looks great, now im just waiting on my brake line and bleed screw...and about that bleed screw, wow it was a tough one.
so as you know, calipers are tough to find on ebay, well the one i got needed to be gone through, ... easier said than done. the bleed screw was stuck on from rust and so was the piston. i ended up breaking the bleeder while trying to take it off and ended up almost knocking myself out trying to remove the piston... no lie...
i tried a lot of methods, so finally i put a big screw into the pad piece, pulled on it and nothing, so then i decided to clamp the bolt into my vice and pull on the caliper...made sense up until it broke free and hit me in the chin with all my strength.. it hit HARD.. kinda tripped me out for a bit, but felt fine after a few seconds, no pain or anything, until the next morning that is... my jaw was sore as hell lol...
so anyway, was not able to get the bleeder or piston out, so i ended up having a metal fab friend help me, a few broken tools and a welded nut later, it all came out and i rebuilt. lol yay.
pics to come.

Much needed headlight upgrade done.
Clear housing and Hid bulb. So much better at night. I can see and be seen.
I have a spare clear housing with led dot and h4 bulb if anyone is interested.
