Hi All,
After reading a lot about the Ace, I now am the proud owner of a new Ace 125. I ordere some parts from OOracing, including the 303 tuning kit and some other cosmetic mods. While awaiting for it to arrive. Everything came in on the same day, even the ACE.
BUT, ran into some issues:
First of all it wouldn't start, turned out the kickstand sensor is faulty, so i disconnected it. Then it would, but stall out in higher RPM.. which could be normal since the bike is brand new. (only 1km on the meter)
Since i am awaiting my license plate, should arrive tomorrow, i went ahead and removed the EGC. While doing so, the copper tube end that goes near the carburater, which looked glued on, with my first attempt to screw it off, it just broke off.. So now i have a hole, with no room to get rid of the dam screw. Which is open (see my image)
Any ideas on how to remove it, or simply cover it up? Or am i up for a new engine to carburator connection piece thing, which would probably take me some time to install, and puts me back a couple of days, and the weekend is coming up now. Can i cover it up, using a metal ziptie and a bit off rubber, or can it stay open?
Any ideas?
Nico
