There was never a stock Honda on first gen Comstars that would do even close to 160 (except in KM)
CB750F2 was about the quickest, and, realistically, it was good for about 125 real mph. (not speedometer indicated)
You could fit a 17" wheel and appear to be runing much faster
The Goldwing would register 125 in 3rd, 4th or 5th gear but wouldn't go any faster.
Saying you were doing 160 just decreases your credibility
I guess I should have said compliant rather than flex, if you know even a quarter as much as you pretend to, you'll know that if you CAN feel wheels flexing, your suspension set up -isn't
BTW, just because you have no experience of problems, doesn't mean they didn't happen
