That's true, I forgot that but I had a wiring diagram for it so wiring was easy. the Kawi I had nothing, and the hacked wiring having a ground sometimes and not others had me looking for a short LOL.

Actually now that I think of it I have a relay on the ground for the electric fan and another switch on the ground side on the CX I guess my frustratrion with the Kawi was I didn't know the colours and the wires were hacked and I had no diagram.

Well, if I'd known you needed help I could have sent you a completely useless, black and white, unlabeled wiring diagram.

LWIL, You get what you pay for when buying "budget" roller tip rockers...

In conjunction, I also learned that a broken rocker on an intake valve will act just like a bad sparkplug/wire/distributorcap. And it's only after replacing all of the aforementioned parts (with obviously no improvement) that a good friend will suggest "check the rocker arms" ::)
 
But on the bright side, you have a shiny new ignition system!
 
Til the best was to fix a friends brand new honda ruckus
we cut out the honda motor and put in a 2 stroke yamaha lump

Today I learned the cocktail shaker mufflers I got aren't as crappy as I thought and have removable baffles. So I can either be REALLLLLY obnoxious or mildy obnoxious.
