Universal - Adjustable Rearset - more pictures and discount option

Dear Kurt,
I am now making rearset which will not depend on the rear foot peg bolting position. It means you have more choices to locate the rearset position by using a clamp bracket set (similar to cl350 rear peg bracket).
I am sending these brackets for powder coating, when it backs to my shop will send you a photo. I also making cafe racer seat ( cow leather padded with aluminum pan) for CB125.
The cost for rearset with these brackets is $US140 shipped. If you buy both seat, clipon and rearset, the cost is 299 shipped.
Thanks
Viet

I am looking forward to seeing pics of the rearsets, brackets and seat.

Dear Kurt
It will take max 2 days for the seat then I will send you a photo.
Thanks

Finally was able to go home this weekend, it's 3/4" o.d....
I am sorry, Architecturer,
I mean I did respond to you but not. I will send a photo of rear set to you in 2 days

Thanks

I look forward to it, thanks :) Also, just a headsup. The issues I've heard of with the kz400 are: the exhaust clearance and the fact that the kick starter pivots differently between the 74-76 models and the 77-79 models.

Hi,
I still waiting for the completion of the bracket that I made and bring out for paint. Threr is some dispute in paint color so all have to redone. Hope tomorrow all will come to my shop, then it is just a matter of finding a correct rod length for your bike.
Really sorry for the delay

This is the completed rear set for KZ440 and KZ400. You need to cut off the stock muffler hanging pipes.
See my photos:

The rear set including bracket and all thing need for it.
Thanks

P/S: this rear set (on the photo) is bolted on a KZ440 bobber I built for my friend. The rear brake is from other bike ( as he want spoke rim rather than stock rim) but I guarantee that it is fit to stock rear drum brake.

Beaut!

Couple things:

1) have you tested to see if it will clear the kickstarter (especially the kickstarter of a '76 which is not the same as later model kz440's and post '77 kz400's)

2) My stock rear wheel is a spoked wheel, in case there was some confusion there.

3) if those things check out, how much is the kit?

Hi Adam,
No problem with type of rim if it is brake drum
The kick starter is clear so no problem with kick starter
Price including brackets is $US 140 shipped
Thank

It is mounted to the stock passenger bracket using a adapter bracket. So it eliminates the problem with using your stock muffler whilst moving your foot position forward and upper. So more comfort gains for rider.
Thanks

Dear Kurt,
The rearset for CB125 is ready to ship. However, since there are some difference in frame in some version, could you send me your frame photo so I could confirm.
This is the rear set photo

Hi,

I really like the look, and the price, of these rearsets. Would they work on a 1982 CM450 in the factory rear peg location? The bike has drum brakes and no kickstarter to worry about. If you need measurements, I can get those for you.

Thanks
