Well, all very interesting but not much of a discussion of vintage leather jackets. As for ebay, you guys need to understand the perspective of the seller. For example, (I am no fan of ebay) if I paid 300 for a leather jacket (which I have one up right now) and there are no bids by the last 24 hours I will general remove the item for sale. Why...because I cannot afford to give away items for less then I paid for them. Secondly, if I list it for 300 dollars, ebay charges so much in fees that I would be out of business in a month paying all the money to feebay. So you see the problem lies in the system...if you really like an item and you dont want the seller to close it, you either have to make them an offer, or bid the item high enough to keep the sellers interest, auctions are not the place to find deals, if you want those you have to get off your arse and go to garage sales, do the foot work and find your own deals. That is just reality...if you dont like reality, well there is little for that outside of hallocinagens
