Damn get that guy to trade it for something you actually have ....Tell him the story , get him a shirt....bring his fav beer over and get r done....check junk yard for 33s
I'll be giving him a shout tomorrow, but some dude is already saying he's got the tires. Figured if I had what he wanted I could plead my case. I've got some stuff that's been hogging up shop space for a while, we'll see if I've got anything he wants.
I think he's dreaming at $650, but maybe there's some kinda old tiny dirt-bike cult running around his neck of the woods?
By the by, thanks for the info on the U.S. price for the shirts. $30.30 including shipping isn't a bad ballpark to be in.
Couldn't get ahold of the first guy, so I started a FB, CL and UsedVictoria campaign. Put posts up everywhere, and there's a guy that might have a bike to donate, he's got a cold so hopefully I hear from him in a few days.
I'd like to thank Desmo, Didthetonatten and Datadavid for buying shirts. I really appreciate the business, and it's going to be nice to tell the kid that guys are wearing his shirts in far away places. So far you're the only ones to buy any, which has got me gritting my teeth a bit, looking like I'm gonna take it dry on these. Just keep telling myself I did the right thing... :
I just might be the dumb-ass for shirt ordering...paid twice bc I could not remember if I paid for the first two so I said what the hell it is for a good cause, send me two! One of the kid's design and the leaping tiger. Just cuz the holidays are over, remember this was all started in that spirit :
I'm doing some back and forth with a local guy that may donate a project DT125. With any luck I can lay hands on it soon, and then I'll know where we stand for parts, etc.
If you want to shoot me an email at: eviloverlord@killmancustoms.com and let me know how you want to pay for those shirts, I can either set up a credit card payment, or just shoot you a Paypal invoice. I'll need your mailing address too.
Yeah I know, but it takes care of currency conversion and lets me send an invoice and receipt. They also get me again on the back end if I try to take the money out of Paypal and put it onto the bank.
Oh yeah, I started up a map of the places that people have ordered shirts from. Got it posted on a couple of pages on the website, and on the business FB page. Figured the kid might get a kick out of it.
Okay, that's horse shit. I get a kick out of it. Kinda like buying toys "for the kids", but I think he'll enjoy it too! ;D
