Hi all, just signed up and found the UK section yay!
My name's Colin and I'm based in Abingdon, Oxford and currently putting together a CBX550 in an urban scrambler stylee, because I can ;-) Road knobblies, custom seat, 550/4 tank etc etc.
Been riding off and on (more off) since the mid/late 70s (RD250C). Acquired the CBX in the mid 90s (when I passed my test) and rode it as a daily for more than a year, great fun. Kept it since then as I always needed to 'have a bike' if you get what I mean?
I plan a project thread soon.
This was it.....
...and now...
...don't be fooled, it's not together, it's even more stripped down, that's a mock up of the alternative tank and seat I made which will be covered in tan&black leather.
I also run one of these.
Looking forward to posting more updates, getting to know locals and gaining more knowledge from wise members on here.

Thank you yorkie, caught the bug...haha! 1600cc with twin carbs....not a racer, just a slam door driver.
I just want the bike to be clean n tidy, usable and look the way I want it. It'll compliment the bug is all I'm sayin'
