Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I can't wait to get some filler on and sand it down!

Re: Winston: My CB360 Project (new fiberglass seat)

I have a spare tank I am trying to strip and I used paint stripper...
Its sooo cold in Toronto that it didnt work, it just FROZE onto the tank before it could 'activate'.
Needless to say, I envy your stripped tank.... It looks so fresh under that paint you removed. Nice!

Oh my! I can guarantee you wouldn't be able to find me working in weather cold enough to freeze paint stripper!! It actually snowed in Dallas, TX yesterday, but I had a small space heater in the garage to keep things comfortable!

Yeah.. the more I see this come together (or really apart).. the more I think how much more awesome it's going to be than my own...

*What's that Elanor? NO, no, I wasn't talking about you... You're number one in my heart.....*

I gotta go...

Re: Winston: My CB360 Project (new fiberglass seat)

Good fit, flows nice with the tank, are you going the clip-ons and rear set route?

Yeah I was just trying to make her feel better because she has to constantly compare them (since they sit next to each other in the garage).... also I needed a 50th post for DCC order... ;D

So in summary... that post was chock full of lies, betrayal, and selfish gain.... which kinda makes it the "best friend" of posts...

Hahaha okay got it.

Well they are very very different bikes. No need to compare or compete, they will both be great in the end :-D

Oh dear. Maybe this is why my guy told me that he would be a "silent partner" in my build...
