Okay rear spoked wheel is in. It's not the right rim but the right diameter

Subscribed.

You're doing what I initially set out to do but didn't commit. I really hope you leave the paint the way it is. It gives it that touch of Oldschool. Btw, I'm partial to the gsxr wheels verses the spokes.

Nice build! 8)

I'm curious about what you're doing to get the chain to pass the wheel/tire and inside the frame. I know you brought the sprocket closer to the hub to gain some room. Are you using a 5/8" offset countershaft sprocket too? :)

I ran into similar issues with my KZ1000 build a few years ago. I ended up with a 5/8" offset countershaft sprocket and a 5.5" rear rim and a 180 tire instead of the 6" rim and 190 tire, to give us the chain clearance we needed.

Keep up the stellar work! 8)

Nice seat, BTW! ;)

Picked up a cb750 tank but it doesn't flow well into the seat so I think ill just keep the cb550 tank

...I like the 750 tank on there.

Your build is an inspiration for my soon to start build. I will be following this as you build.

So in order to run a laced wheel up front I designed a hub that will bolt right up to gsxr fork. I will reuse stock axle, brake rotors and bearings without spacers or shimming.

I'm waiting on quotes from machine shops but looks like ill have to buy a few. If anyone's interested in buying one let me know.
